1. Introduction

By accessing or using EIKONAL.WORKS products or services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the software, website, licensing portal, downloads, or related services. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Licensing

After registration, eligible beta users may receive a 15-day test period license for EIKONAL.WORKS IntensityView. The test period license is for evaluation and non-commercial use only. It must not be used for production work, commercial services, official engineering deliverables, certification, regulatory submissions, or assessment, verification, duplication, or benchmarking of calculations made with EIKONAL.WORKS IntensityView or competing applications. Commercial, educational, research, or extended use requires a valid license issued by EIKONAL Kft.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works from the software.
• Circumvent, disable, spoof, or interfere with licensing, activation, telemetry, or security mechanisms.
• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, resell, or host the software without written permission.
• Use the software for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable export, sanctions, or safety laws.

4. Intellectual Property

EIKONAL Kft. and its licensors retain all ownership, copyright, database rights, trade secret rights, trademarks, service marks, know-how, algorithms, software architecture, user interface designs, documentation, and all other intellectual property rights in and to EIKONAL.WORKS products and services. No ownership rights are transferred to you. You receive only the limited right to use the software under the license issued to you.

5. Payments

Payments for paid licenses may be processed by external payment providers. EIKONAL Kft. does not store full payment card details. Taxes, invoices, refunds, and license periods are handled according to the offer, order, or quotation accepted by the customer.

6. No Warranty

The software and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. EIKONAL Kft. does not warrant that the software is error-free, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for independent review, validation, and professional judgment before relying on any calculation, output, design, report, or result.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EIKONAL Kft. is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, business interruption, project delay, design error, construction error, safety incident, or any damage related to calculations, simulations, estimates, conclusions, or decisions made with or based on the software.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in abusive, fraudulent, or security-relevant activity. License checkouts and activations may be monitored through IP address, machine identifiers, machine name, user account information, activation data, and licensing telemetry. Any attempt to bypass licensing, tamper with activation data, spoof a machine, reverse engineer license enforcement, or interfere with telemetry causes automatic termination of the affected license and may terminate your account.

9. Privacy

Personal data collected through the portal, licensing system, and software is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. These Terms and the Privacy Policy should be read together.

10. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Hungary.
