Supported File Formats
IntensityView supports several photometric exchange formats through built-in document streams. The built-in list is defined by the intensity document stream factory. On Windows, additional formats can be registered by compatible stream plugins at runtime.

The file open dialog groups these extensions into a combined photometric file filter and individual format filters.
Choosing a format
Use the format expected by the next tool in your workflow. IES and EULUMDAT are widely accepted by lighting calculation software. TM-33 and GLDF are structured modern exchange formats. Use EWI when you need to preserve EikonalWorks-specific document structure, multiple channels, property data, color data, and editing state with minimal loss.
Format-specific notes
Each format page describes what the format is normally used for and how IntensityView treats it. Export behavior may be limited by what a target format can represent. When in doubt, keep an .ewi copy as the project master and export exchange formats as deliverables.
